SHOOT's 2009 New Directors Showcase

Kevin has been selected for SHOOT's 2009 New Directors Showcase. We leave on Wednesday for New York where we will attend an event at the DGA Theater, his work will be screened as part of the New Directors Reel (you may have to be logged in to view the reel.) This is so exciting for us, for him, and for our business. We spent last week in a flurry of preparations: updating the painfully outdated work on our website, writing press releases, ordering new business cards, making new reels, etc. 

We learned another lesson here, too: we need to take the advice that we give to clients about keeping marketing materials updated and at the ready...we never should have let our own website go untouched for so long. We should always have business cards on hand. Simple things, but important things, can slip past you so easily. We need to stay on our toes more with our own promotion.
