Off to work I go with my new shoulder bag. I love it. It makes every project feel fresh and newly organized, like a trapper keeper on the first day of school.
And I feel energized for a new phase for RA - the edit process that is now home in Cleveland. We're working with Mike O'Brien, editor, and Ante Up Audio for the sound mix and music. A year after the project kicked off, we are finally getting our hands dirty on the structure and story. It's a great reaffirmation, a year later, especially as fresh eyes are looking at the footage and their reaction is strong. We're excited about it.
My last days with SAGA are coming to a close; I'll miss these guys and all the funny moments of confusion. I'm balancing petty cash and the overall budget for the US shoot. They are moving out of the apartment and sending most everything back to Switzerland. All in all, it was a successful project from my perspective, and they seem happy, too.
